"How many ways can I say I love you"

I celebrated my New Years Eve with my Living Water Fellowship Church family which featured a concert ! One of the performers was Schawayna Raie. She is a member of my church and I immediately loved her style of singing as soon as she began singing. One of the songs she performed was her hit single How Many Ways. She describes her style of music as urban gospel. In my opinion, she's like Erykah Badu and Yolanda Adams combined in one. Her voice is simply amazing.

Check out her Facebook page for links to purchase and listen to her music ♥

You're going to miss me when I'm gone...

(Me and Tamara Mellon of Jimmy Choo)

I have totally been slacking when it comes to my blog. I've been quite busy with work and college and will be even more busy because I will be taking 18 credit hours this semester *waves bye-bye to my social life*. 2011 was a great year for me. Formed some great memories and had some amazing experiences. Going to NYC for TVFU, turning 21, and becoming a brother of the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi were def the highlight of 2011 for me. God blessed me in many ways so there is no way I could complain. In 2012, I look forward to many more blessings and growing closer to God.
Hope you all had a blast bringing in the new year....I MOS DEF DID :)

God Bless...

"Hair Tied, Chillin With No Makeup On"

On April 1 of this year I started my natural hair journey. I did the big chop them dyed my hair honey blonde. At the 3-months mark I put a rinse on my hair called Rich Amber by Adore and I LOVED THIS COLOR. I've decided to do a protective style, so I got sengalese twists done about three weeks ago and I also love them. They are quite long (almost touch my belly button).

Below are some pics of my twist. I styled them in a big flat twist and then placed them into this sloppy bun. I'm not that great at doing neat buns lol.

Any questions about the twists, just simply comment on this post :)

I've been M.I.A but.....I GOT ACCEPTED !

It's official! I received an e-mail today notifying me that I have been accepted to be apart of the Teen Vogue Fashion U. Class of 2011! The weekend long event will take place Oct. 21-23. I am super excited but I viewed hotel prices and they were quite high, but that is what I expected since it is taking place in NYC. I will have to figure out a way to get there on a college student's budget, but I will DEF make it happen.

I look forward to hearing from designers such as Rachel Roy, Betsey Johnson, Alexander Wang, and more.

Other than this, I have been extremely busy with school. College is fun, but a lot of work. For those of you who don't know I am majoring in marketing and minoring in advertising.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Wiz Khalifa X No Sleep

Wiz "Mr. Ink My Whole Body" Khalifa parties like a rock star in his new video No Sleep. The video also features his girlfriend, Amber Rose. Say what you want about Amber, I still love her. Her style is sick. Even if Yeezy taught her #YeShrug. Off her and back to Wiz. Wiz is def one of my top rappers to listen to. I love his laid-back flow and of course his ink takes him to another level of flyy. If you haven't listened to his new album Rolling Papers yet, go download it at the iTunes music store or purchase it at your local music retailer.

Sneak Peek Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. IV

(photo taken from Urban Decay Facebook page)

Yesterday Urban Decay uploaded a few photos of the new Book of Shadows. I only own the Book of Shadows Vol. III, UD Loves NYC. I absolutely adore Urban Decay cosmetics but I am not a fan of glitter shadows and their palettes tends to feature glitter shadows that have fall-out. I already know that I will not like Midnight Rodeo. Check out Urban Decay's Facebook page for more photos and swatches. Also follow them on twitter. They always tweet about new product information and ideas for makeup looks!

"N*ggas feel themselves then Watch The Throne drop, N*ggas kill themselves"

I got my copy of Watch The Throne from Best Buy today. It totally slipped my mind that the album was released in-store yesterday smh. Here are some pics of the album art and packaging.
